So it felt crowded the whole time, and it just didn’t have that romantic vibe I was hoping for.

We had a really great time at the resort, especially at night. The bars had a fun vibe without getting too wild, the music was solid, and there were always people hanging around after dinner, which made it easy to keep the night going. The only thing I’d say is that a few spots got a little busy at peak times, so getting a drink could take a bit longer than expected. Still, the staff did a good job keeping things moving, and the whole place never felt boring. I’d definitely go back.

The resort grounds were nice. Lots of plants and palm trees, which I liked. Some areas were great to walk around. But a few spots felt overgrown, with dead leaves around. Not terrible. Just expected it to be a bit better kept.

The floors felt dirty when I was there. I also asked about it and kept getting different answers from different people, which was frustrating. It just didn’t feel like anyone was on the same page.

Stayed at Secrets with my wife, we felt safe the entire time. You know how sometimes you’re on vacation but still half-checking your surroundings without meaning to? I didn’t feel like that much here, which was nice.

Security was definitely around, but not in a heavy or uncomfortable way. They checked cars coming in, kept an eye on the beach areas, and the staff seemed quick to step in if someone needed something. I remember walking back to the room late one night, kind of tired and thinking about breakfast the next morning for some reason, and we both felt totally fine.

Nothing weird happened, and that really helped us relax and enjoy the trip more. It’s one of those things you don’t think about when everything is going well, but it matters. We’d stay again

We booked this resort for our anniversary and even let them know ahead of time. When we got there, the whole thing was basically ignored, and when we brought it up, the staff didn’t seem all that concerned. it’s not even about getting free stuff or some huge gesture — it’s just that for a special occasion, you expect a little care and attention. Mistakes happen, I get it, but this felt careless. We left disappointed and I wouldn’t trust them again for another important date.

The bar service was the one thing that really stood out to me, and not in a good way. We waited way too long most nights, even when it didn’t look that busy. I remember one night we were standing right at the corner of the bar, next to a little stack of cocktail napkins, and the bartender walked past us a few times without even making eye contact. It just felt like we kept getting ignored, which made the whole experience more annoying than it needed to be.

I tried booking a stay through secretsresorts.com, it was a bit frustrating. The prices seemed to change between pages, and the checkout kept loading really slowly. I did eventually get my confirmation, so it worked out in the end, but it definitely took longer than expected. Not the worst experience ever, just not as smooth as I was hoping for 🤷‍♀️

We stayed at Secrets, i was feeling mentally drained by the time we got there, so having the concierge service was a big help. They booked our dinners, helped sort out a small issue with the room, and gave us some solid tips for the spa and good beach spots. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that replies were sometimes a little slow, mostly in the evenings. Still, everyone was friendly, and they definitely made the trip feel a lot less stressful.

We really liked that it was adults only. The whole place had such a calm, easygoing feel, and it was nice not having loud kids running around while we were at the pool or having dinner. Everything from the booking emails to the receipts was easy to keep track of too, which I appreciated. I’m giving 4 stars just because a few areas felt a little too quiet at night for our taste, but overall we had a really nice and relaxing stay.

Well... overall, it was a nice resort and I really enjoyed my stay. The only downside was that the ocean was a bit too rough for swimming at times, so that was kind of disappointing.

We stayed at Secrets and, reading between the lines, the pool area just doesn’t seem to get the same attention as the rest of the resort. Some days the water looked a bit cloudy, and there were leaves and even cups sitting around the edges. It also filled up really quickly, so unless you were out there super early, finding chairs was tough. The staff we dealt with were nice, but the pool itself didn’t feel as clean or relaxing as I expected. For the price, I thought it would be better.

Housekeeping was really solid. The room was cleaned well every day, fresh towels were always there, and the bed was made nicely. I kind of assumed they might just rush through it or only make it look clean on the surface, but they actually paid attention to the little things too. It was nice coming back after breakfast or the beach and feeling like the room was genuinely taken care of.

Overall, it was a nice place and we liked a lot about it, but uh, the restaurant service was disappointing. We waited forever for drinks, and our food came out cold twice. The staff were friendly, which helped, but they seemed kind of lost most nights.

I really liked the restaurant options here. There was enough variety to keep us covered for the whole week, which was clutch. Some spots were definitely better than others, but overall we ate well and had no major complaints

I went in hoping to get a full workout in, and the cardio machines were mostly fine. A couple looked a little worn, but for the most part they worked and I was able to get through that part without much trouble. This is where it got annoying, though: the weight selection felt limited. If you’re planning on doing anything beyond a basic routine, you might find yourself waiting around or having to change up your workout. It’s okay for a quick cardio session, but I wouldn’t count on it for a solid weightlifting day.

The shows and games were really fun. I had a great time and would definitely enjoy doing it again

I like the drinks here overall, though I’m not sure if it’s just my taste or what, but sometimes they come out a bit too sweet for me. Still good, just maybe something I’d order with less sugar next time.

They came by and fixed the shower fast. I’m not totally sure what the issue was, but it was handled without any fuss, so I was happy with it

I had to wait a while, and I started getting a little nervous that I was being strung along or fooled somehow. In the end, it was okay, but the wait definitely made me uneasy.
